ORANJESTAD – For fifteen years now, Aruban donkeys have been sheltered at the local Donkey Sanctuary, which is run by volunteers. A group of about fifty volunteers of different nationalities is taking care of the donkeys and of the Sanctuary as well. Besides that, many of the volunteers participate in activities to raise funds.
