Little did Heather know that her boyfriend, with the assistance of the staff at De Palm Island, had purposely put the treasure box amongst the coral where he knew they would be snorkeling. What was to be an ordinary day of enjoying all that De Palm Island has to offer such as banana boat rides, waterslides, all-inclusive food & beverage, snorkeling and more, turned out to be a very special moment for Heather. Upon discovering the treasure box Heather was at first hesitant to pick it up.

Preparing for the sixth Aruba International Regatta

Aruba International Regatta 04ARUBA - This year on August 15, 16 and 17 the sixth Aruba International Regatta will take place on Aruba. Three days of action and competition for yachts, beach cats, sunfishes, optimists, windsurfers and kite surfers; three evenings of music and parties for all participants and spectators.

The sailors will compete for the Budget Marine cup for the winner in the most competitive class. This cup will be awarded for the fourth time this year and has a value of afl. 1000. For the youngest sailors there will be optimist races and there will be down wind races for the kite surfers and wind surfers.

Flown in from Zeeland in the south of Holland, they are still dripping sea water, so to speak. Early last month the first mussel crop was allowed to be picked and the verdict from the experts was that it was of excellent quality, even though the temperature of the water has not been as favorable as other years.

WHO IS DRINKING MY WINE. On Thursday I went to the supermarket, you know which one, the one that keeps switching things around to confuse us. I packed some wine, bubbly and juice, some designer water, nothing too extravagant, I was going to make an amazing sangria for friends dropping in for lunch on Saturday. On my way out of the market I stopped to congratulated Warren Stanley on raising a genius, a high-achieving kid who just graduated colegio brilliantly.
